Garhwa: Budding actors and theatre enthusiasts will get a platform to demonstrate their acting skills at the second edition of the Solo Acting Competition, scheduled to be held on October 25 at Bandhan Marriage Hall, Nawada More, Garhwa. The programme will begin at 10:15 a.m.
Organised by Pt. Harsh Dwivedi Kala Manch, Nawada, Garhwa, the competition aims to promote theatrical talent and encourage emerging performers, particularly those from rural areas and small towns. Participants will perform solo acts, with their skills assessed through dialogue delivery, facial expressions, voice modulation and stage presence.
Building on the response to its inaugural edition, the organisers expect the event to draw participation from aspiring actors and local theatre enthusiasts. The initiative is also intended to strengthen the district’s cultural landscape by providing emerging artists with an opportunity to showcase their abilities.
Director Niraj Shridhar ‘Swargiya’ has appealed to aspiring performers to participate in the competition and use the platform to display their creativity and acting prowess.
The organisers have also emphasised that performances must adhere to standards of decorum and artistic expression. Acts containing objectionable remarks or targeting any individual, religion, caste, community or political party will not be permitted.
