Latehar: In a bid to promote entrepreneurship development and industrial growth in the district, the District Industries Centre (DIC), Latehar, organised an awareness workshop for existing and aspiring entrepreneurs. The programme aimed to familiarise participants with various government schemes and support mechanisms available for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
During the workshop, entrepreneurs were provided detailed information about the functioning, application procedures and benefits of key MSME platforms, including MSME Samadhan (ODR), the Micro and Small Enterprises Facilitation Council (MSEFC) and the Trade Receivables Discounting System (TReDS) portal.
Special emphasis was placed on addressing the issue of delayed payments faced by MSMEs. Participants were informed about the process of lodging online complaints through the MSME Samadhan portal, uploading necessary documents and tracking the resolution process to ensure timely settlement of dues.
Officials also encouraged entrepreneurs to take advantage of government-backed schemes and adopt digital platforms to expand their businesses, improve operational efficiency and strengthen market competitiveness.
Among those present on the occasion were EoDB Manager Kunal Sahdev, Assistant Director, MSME (who joined virtually), representatives of RSETI, JSLPS BPM and other officials associated with entrepreneurship and skill development initiatives.
