British Lingua to Host Seminar on Employability Skills for Women on March 8

NEW DELHI: British Lingua, a leading institute for English communication and skill development, will host a special seminar titled “Breaking Barriers: How Employability Skills Transform Women’s Lives” on March 8, 2026, to mark International Women’s Day. The seminar will begin from 11:00 AM onwards in its Laxmi Nagar office.

The seminar will focus on how employability skills—such as communication proficiency, digital literacy, interview readiness, and personality development—can empower women to achieve greater independence and career growth. Organisers said the event aims to inspire women from diverse socio-economic backgrounds and highlight real-life stories of transformation through skill-based learning.

According to British Lingua, the initiative reflects the institute’s ongoing commitment to enhancing women’s participation in the workforce and promoting equal opportunities in education and employment. The programme will bring together educators, corporate trainers, development sector experts, and women achievers who will share insights on bridging gender gaps and building a more inclusive workplace environment.

The event will also feature interactive discussions on the challenges faced by women in accessing quality training, the importance of soft skills in professional success, and strategies for building confidence and leadership abilities among young women.

A felicitation ceremony is planned as part of the programme, where women learners who have shown exceptional progress will be recognised for their achievements. British Lingua has encouraged students, professionals, and academicians to participate and join the wider conversation on women’s empowerment through employability skills.
