Garhwa: BJP leaders and workers celebrated former Palamu MP Braj Mohan Ram’s appointment as Odisha Governor by bursting crackers and distributing sweets at Ranka Mor.
The district BJP president, senior party leaders and workers expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu for the appointment, describing it as a moment of pride for the Palamu region.
Party leaders highlighted Ram’s Dalit background and political career, stating that his elevation to the constitutional post underscored the importance of social representation and equal opportunities in public life.
Ram represented Palamu in the Lok Sabha for three consecutive terms in 1996, 1998 and 1999.
