B.P. DAV Public School Showcases Young Innovators

GARHWA: B.P. DAV Public School, Garhwa, hosted a vibrant and intellectually charged Science, Art and Craft Exposition on January 31, 2026, drawing an impressive turnout of parents, educators and local stakeholders. Held from 9:30 AM to 1:15 PM, the exhibition reflected the school’s continuing commitment to fostering scientific inquiry, artistic imagination and creative engineering among its learners.

The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Ajay Kumar Verma, Commandant, 172nd Battalion, CRPF, in the presence of Principal Ashish Kumar Mandal, senior faculty members, and invited science educators Sanjay Kumar (Aditya Birla Public School) and Sujit Kumar Patel (Kendriya Vidyalaya, Garhwa). The ceremonial lamp‑lighting set a dignified tone for the proceedings. A melodious welcome song led by Music Teacher P.K. Mishra and a sequence of cultural performances choreographed by Neha Keshari, Saghufi Nazneen, and Iftiyasaam Nazneen enthralled the audience.

The exhibition presented an impressive array of scientific models, experimental demonstrations, thematic art, and crafted artefacts. Judges evaluated the entries across multiple categories:

Results & Highlights

Classes 6–7 witnessed inventive projects such as a Futuristic Remote‑Controlled Car by Prince Kumar and Harsh; an Air Purification Unit by Ripunjay Dhanraj and Arya Raj; and a Water‑Bottle Rocket with Automatic Fire Extinguishing System by Divyansh, Ritu Raj, Prince Kumar Gupta, Anurag Pandey, and Abhay Kumar.

In Classes 8–9, standout exhibits included a Hybrid Energy Plant (water, solar, wind) by Om Gupta, Pranjali Deeksha, Nikhilesh Shukla, and Pakhi Singh; an Integrated Science Center by Ayesha Avez and team; and an AI‑Based Robot by Shresth Singh, Tanay Tiwari, Shivansh, Mohit Mishra, and Ritvik Raj.

The Classes 10–12 category featured advanced models such as Electricity Generation from Waste with 3D Light Projection (Khushboo Kumari and team), a Cardiac Disease Demonstration Model (Altamas Raza and group), and a Hemodialysis System Prototype (Arya Nandini and team).

In the Canvas Painting Competition, Aditya Kumar (4A), Ardhaneeti Singh (4B), and Saanvi Tiwari (5B) secured top positions, while the Art & Craft segment showcased commendable works from Armaan Raza, Aadhya Kumari, and others.

Chief Guest Verma commended the students’ scientific spirit, praising the school’s disciplined and value‑driven academic culture. Principal Mandal expressed gratitude to all contributors, highlighting the exhibition as a powerful platform for building confidence, innovation and character.
