Garhwa: The second phase of the Kala Dharohar Yatra, organized by Sanskar Bharati of Jharkhand, concluded successfully with great enthusiasm as the art troupe reached the historic Shiv Pahari Cave at Bhawnathpur. The journey began from the Kali Temple at the district headquarters, where participants offered prayers before setting out.
More than a religious or cultural visit, the yatra emerged as a powerful movement dedicated to the preservation and promotion of India’s rich cultural, artistic, and spiritual heritage. Artists, litterateurs, and social workers carried the message of cultural consciousness throughout the journey through traditional songs, folk conversations, and meaningful cultural exchanges, transforming the yatra into a living cultural campaign.
Traversing rugged paths, narrow trails, and steep hill climbs, participants displayed remarkable determination and devotion. Despite the challenging terrain, the art troupe reached the cave and offered prayers in the sanctum, reaffirming their commitment to protecting cultural heritage.
Renowned author Dr. Ramesh Chanchal described the yatra as a continuous and serious effort to safeguard cultural identity, while Pramod Kumar, District Secretary of the All-India Sahitya Parishad, emphasized that heritage sites are mirrors of the nation’s soul, not merely tourist destinations.
Kala Dharohar Convener Neeraj Shridhar ‘Swargiya’ stated that the initiative draws inspiration from the Prime Minister’s vision of “Pride in Heritage” and aims to spread awareness of the cultural, historical, and spiritual significance of such sites.
Several cultural figures, educators, artists, advocates, and local citizens participated, applauding the initiative and urging its continuation.
The event concluded with a collective pledge to work consistently for the preservation, promotion, and propagation of cultural heritage, marking the second phase of the Kala Dharohar Yatra as both successful and impactful.
