Rastriya Parshuram Sena Asks State Govt to Ban on Supply of Meat and Wine During Chhath Puja

RANCHI: Hindu organisation named Rastriya Parshuram Sena on Saturday met state government representative Rajiv Kumar asked to put a blanket ban on supply of meat and wine in the state.

The delegation led by Bindu Bhushan Pandey State patron-in-chief of Rastriya Parshuram Sena, Dr. Amit Prakash, Guddu Tiwari, Ravikant, Anjani Dubey, Tinku Shukla, Ashutosh Pandey, Chandan Mishra among those were also present.

They have said in memorandum that considering the ‘Chhath Puja’ one of the most holy festivals of Hindus community in the country, the supply of these items through roadways to be completely prohibited.

Chhath Puja, the purest festival starting from November 8th to 11th, and we want complete ban on the uncertain activities being run through the state. The officials maintain.

Reacting to the media, Dr. Amit Prakash said that people should come-out and support the move. This festival requires a complete hygiene and purity and in order to maintain this people should shut down their business outlets as well.

A delegation of RPS (Rastriya Parshuram Sena) also met former Chief Minister Babu Lal Marandi and put their demand forward to sustain it, while Mr. Marandi assured them for support in this regard.
