Mata Kamala Multispeciality Hospital to Host Free Health Check-Up Camp on January 8

PALAMAU: In a bid to promote preventive healthcare and community wellness, Mata Kamala Multispeciality Hospital will organize a free pediatric health check-up camp on January 8, 2026, at its facility. The initiative, announced by hospital Director Shyam Kishore Singh, underscores the hospital’s commitment to ensuring accessible healthcare for children in the region.

The camp is designed exclusively for children, offering comprehensive health screenings and consultations at no cost. “Children are the foundation of a healthy future. This camp aims to identify health issues early and guide parents on preventive measures,” Singh stated.

Two experienced doctors, Dr. Pawan Kumar and Dr. Bhardwaj Choudhary, will lead the camp. Both specialists bring extensive expertise in pediatric care and preventive medicine, ensuring that every child receives thorough attention and professional advice.

The services being provided are Growth and development assessments, immunization advice, nutritional counseling, screening for common childhood illnesses, and guidance on preventive care and hygiene. The hospital has arranged child-friendly facilities and a dedicated team to make the experience comfortable and stress-free for young patients.

Director Singh emphasized that the camp is part of a broader mission to promote child health awareness. “Preventive care is essential for children. Through this camp, we aim to educate parents and provide timely interventions,” he said. The hospital will also distribute informational leaflets on nutrition, vaccination schedules, and hygiene practices.
