GARHWA: The Ethics Committee of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly arrived in Garhwa district on Friday and held a comprehensive review meeting with senior district officials. The committee was welcomed by top administrative officers upon its arrival.
The meeting, chaired by Committee Chairman and Manika MLA Ramchandra Singh, took place in the conference hall of the Garhwa Parishad. It focused on department-wise evaluation of pending compassionate appointment cases, pension matters, and other administrative issues.
During the review, the committee assessed the functioning of various departments, progress of government schemes, administrative efficiency, public service delivery, and ethical conduct of officials and staff. District-level officers presented updated progress reports for their respective departments.
The committee emphasized the need for effective and transparent implementation of government schemes, timely disposal of public-related matters, and stronger inter-departmental coordination. It highlighted the importance of sensitivity in handling issues directly affecting citizens.
Deputy Development Commissioner Pashupatinath Mishra briefed the committee on ongoing development and welfare initiatives in the district. He stated that the administration is prioritizing good governance, transparency, and accountability, ensuring compliance with all official guidelines.
At the conclusion of the meeting, members of the Ethics Committee appreciated the efforts of the district administration and issued directives for the speedy resolution of all pending cases.
Among those present were Additional Collector Raj Maheshwaram, District Land Acquisition Officer Sanjay Prasad, District Panchayati Raj Officer Parmesh Kushwaha, District Transport Officer Dheeraj Prakash, Rural Works Department Executive Engineer Dharmendra Kumar, District Public Relations Officer Pankaj Kumar Giri, along with officials, office heads, and staff from various departments.
