NEW DELHI: In strong reaction to what India called ‘ill-informed and unwarranted’ remarks, ministry of eternal affairs summoned the Canadian emissary to India and told him clearly that such actions will impact the bilateral ties between the two countries.
This has came in a wake of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau supported the ongoing farmers protest in New Delhi.
The minister for external affairs, Dr. S Jaishankar refused to attend the scheduled meet in next week which is hosted by Canada. A release from the Canadian foreign ministry had lauded the efforts made by the India on addressing the global Covid-19 vaccine and its related medicines need.
