Ekam Sanatan Bharat Dal Surfaces, Outlines Its Nation-wide Agendas

NEW DELHI: A Jammu based Advocate Ankur Sharma, who fought against ‘Roshni Act’ a reflection of nexus of politicians and bureaucrats of Jammu and Kashmir. The controversial ‘Roshni Act’ which legitimised the illegal occupation of lands in Jammu by then J&K government against which Advocate Sharma (42) skirmished legal battles in top court of the state to reverse the occupied lands to its original owner.

Advocate Sharma, who had founded a political party named ‘IkkJutt Jammu Party. The purpose was to fight against the menace of terror and separatist mindsets in the state, subsequently Advocate Sharma sets out an alternative for Sanatnani’s across the country.

He said his Dal’s objective is to create a Sanatani political alternative representing the interests of all Bharatiyas irrespective of caste, region, or religion. He said the Ekam Sanatan Bharat Dal would focus on preserving and promoting the rich cultural and traditional values of India. He further emphasized that the party would work towards the development of the country with the focus being on the needs of the people.

During the press briefing, Advocate Sharma has put out a seven – point action plan of Ekam Sanatan Bharat Dal are as follows; a). Constitutional amendment redefining minority as a religious or linguistic group that constitutes less than five per cent of the country’s population. b). Putting an end to government control of Hindu temples & mathas. c). Separating Hindu majority Jammu from Kashmir, dividing Kashmir into two union territories, and making Jammu a full-fledged state. d). Total ban on cow slaughter, making Gaumata the symbol of national heritage and reconstructing Kashmir’s Martand Surya Mandir. e). Repealing the Waqf Act, 1991 Places of Worship Act, Sachar Committee recommendations, and amending Article 30 of the Bharatiya Constitution to allow Hindus to establish and administer their Educational Institutions autonomously. f). Reversing and arresting demographic invasion as well as immediate restoration of demographic balances in the worst affected areas. g). Holistic sustainable development based on true history, Sanskriti, Spirituality (Adhyatma), and environmental consciousness.

In light of the Manipur violence against Miety community, the Ekam Sanatan Bharat Dal has formed a high level committee lead by one of the retired defence officer to assesses the damages of their property and to provide the assistance to them.
