Block Pramukh Flags Administrative Lapses, Sets April 08 Deadline for Encroachment Removal

GARHWA: Vishunpura Block Pramukh Deepa Kumari has expressed strong dissatisfaction with the functioning of the local administration, citing repeated delays and lack of coordination in essential public services.

In a formal letter addressed to the Circle Officer, she stated that several development activities were suffering due to what she termed “administrative indifference.” According to her, earlier attempts to raise these concerns informally had not resulted in tangible improvements, prompting her to seek official intervention.

A major point of emphasis in her communication is the ongoing issue of encroachments across different areas of the block. Deepa Kumari has directed that all encroachments be removed by April 08, 2026, stressing that unauthorized occupations are obstructing development work and causing inconvenience to the public.

She urged the Circle Officer to ensure timely and strict enforcement of the clearance drive. Along with administrative concerns, the Block Pramukh also outlined important upcoming community events. A candle march focusing on social harmony has been scheduled for April 13, followed by a Tiranga Yatra on the same day to promote unity and harmony.

The block will also observe Ambedkar Jayanti on April 14, with several cultural and awareness programs planned to honor Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s contributions.

An official response from the Circle Office is still awaited. Meanwhile, residents and local representatives are closely watching whether the administration will act promptly, particularly on the encroachment issue, which remains a major public concern in Vishunpura.
