A Hero Without Uniform: Chief Secretary Donates Blood, Saves a Life

PALAMAU: In a commendable act of service, Vikas Kumar Tiwari, Chief Secretary of the Rashtriya Trishakti Sainik Kalyan Sangathan, donated blood to save the life of an elderly man who was in critical condition. The recipient, Jayshankar Paswan, a well‑known social worker and father‑in‑law of serving Army personnel Omprakash Paswan of Lesliganj, Palamu, was battling a severe medical emergency due to dangerously low platelet levels. Doctors reported that his condition had deteriorated because his body was unable to produce adequate blood, making timely intervention essential.

Upon receiving the urgent request, Vikas immediately stepped forward and donated blood, helping stabilize the patient’s condition. His action reflects the Sangathan’s strong commitment to humanitarian values and its ongoing mission of serving society with dedication and compassion.

The Rashtriya Trishakti Sainik Kalyan Sangathan has consistently remained active in social welfare activities, particularly those supporting soldiers, ex‑servicemen, and their families. Continuing its tradition of community engagement, the organization has announced that its next Sainik Milan program will be held on March 6, 2026, at its office premises. The event is expected to bring together members, volunteers, and supporters to strengthen camaraderie and further expand welfare initiatives.
