The meeting focused on preparations for the upcoming Gau Samman Diwas and a large-scale signature campaign aimed at mobilizing public support for cow protection and welfare.

The gathering brought together several prominent religious leaders, cow welfare advocates, and social workers associated with the campaign. Among those present were revered Gau Sevak Pujya Keshav Das Ji Maharaj, Swami Om Ji, Govardhan Maharaj, Gau Sevak Rajesh Ji, and social activist Pradeep Kataria. Participants deliberated on strategies to intensify the signature drive across New Palam Vihar and adjoining localities and discussed ways to involve a larger section of society in the campaign.

Addressing the meeting, campaign leaders announced that a target of 500,000 signatures has been set for Gurugram district. Upon completion of the campaign, a memorandum containing the collected signatures will be submitted to the Prime Minister through the district administration. Organizers stated that prior to the submission of the memorandum, a large gathering of devotees and supporters would be convened through devotional chanting, kirtans, and public outreach activities to demonstrate widespread public support for the initiative.

Speaking on the occasion, Pujya Keshav Das Ji Maharaj elaborated on the objectives of the Gau Samman Aahwan Campaign, describing it as a nationwide and constitutional public movement led by saints, spiritual leaders, and cow protection advocates. He said the campaign seeks to ensure proper care, complete protection, and greater respect for cows in India.

According to campaign representatives, the key demands include granting the status of “Rashtra Mata” (Mother of the Nation) to cows, enacting a uniform and comprehensive central law prohibiting cow slaughter across the country, and establishing a dedicated Ministry of Cow Welfare at the national level to oversee the protection, conservation, and management of cattle resources.

Calling upon citizens to actively participate in the initiative, campaign leaders urged people from all walks of life to support the signature drive and contribute to the broader cause of cow protection and welfare.

Several prominent local residents and social workers also attended the meeting, including Rajkumar (Raju), a prominent personality associated with the CM Window initiative, Mehar Singh Rana, Amit (Hanuman), Manager of Surya Narayan Pitambara Shakti Peeth, Sector-109, Anjan Deveshwar, Virender Ji, Gopal Walia, Anil Nanda, Ajit Ji, and Praveen Ji, among others.

Participants pledged to conduct door-to-door outreach programs, engage with local residents, and work collectively to secure widespread public participation in the signature campaign. Organizers expressed confidence that the initiative would gain substantial momentum in the coming weeks as efforts intensify across Gurugram and surrounding areas.
