Migrant Teacher Association Debunks Kejriwal’s Claim on Jobs

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Govt School Teacher Association (Migrant) on Monday issues a statement condemning Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who had claimed in a TV interview that he has given jobs to over 200 Kashmiri Pandits with retrospective dates with all dues, benefits etc.

While, the association (KMT) has issued a detail statement mentioning the dates as to what were done by Kejriwal led government in NCT. On June 06, 2010, the KMT has approached Delhi High Court, and the judgement goes in favour of them, which Delhi Government has opposed and also challenged the same.

On May 21, 2018, the double bench against its verdict in favour of KMT and ordered to regularise their services.

The Kejriwal government approaches the Supreme Court, which was further dismissed by the Apext Court and withstands the High Court’s judgement. Then, Kejriwal has regularised their services in January 2019.

KMT also alleges that Delhi govt was never interested in regularising their services, it was Court’s order which bound them follow the suits.

The statement of KMT came in the light of Kejriwal’s speech during the assembly session being held in; where Delhi CM seems laughing and lambasting the film TheKashmirFiles and called it fake and untrue. On the other side, AAP’s MLAs are also seen laughing at his statement.

Kejriwal further claims that we have done this what BJP and Congress govt have done for them so far. BJP is in power for last thirteen years and they should tell what they did for the Kashmiri Hindus except promoting the films made by Vivek Agnihotri.

Kejriwal also said “the BJP is doing politics over the issue. We demand ‘The Kashmir Files’ film be uploaded on YouTube so that the entire country can understand the plight of Kashmiri Pandits. The money earned from it should be spent on the welfare of Kashmiri Pandits.”

Posting a picture showing Kejriwal and other AAP MLAs laughing in the Delhi Assembly, BJP general secretary B L Santhosh had tweeted: “Never forget.”

“They are laughing (at) people who lost their lives in J&K due to terrorism, laughing at mothers who lost their children, children who lost their parents, security forces who were killed, women who were butchered, children who were shot at… Shameless anarchists.”
