Gurugram: The Gurugram district unit of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) held its monthly executive meeting on Sunday to review preparations for the nationwide Hitachintak Abhiyan, scheduled from November 22 to December 6. District office-bearers and block-level functionaries participated in the meeting.
Addressing the gathering, provincial minister Yashwant Shekhawat said the campaign aims to reach Hindu families across society and strengthen public awareness about VHP’s objectives and activities. Divisional organisation minister Sultan urged workers to make the campaign a success, particularly in the birth centenary year of late VHP leader Ashok Singhal.
A training session on the VHP Connect mobile application was conducted by district joint publicity head Nikit Sanatani, who guided workers on registering supporters and managing campaign activities through the platform.
The meeting also focused on target-setting, temple outreach, door-to-door contact programmes, installation of campaign stalls, and preparation of a comprehensive list of temples in the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram area. Representatives from Bajrang Dal, Durga Vahini, Matrushakti, Seva, and other VHP wings attended the meeting.
The session concluded with a collective pledge by participants to expand outreach and ensure the success of the upcoming campaign.
