Latehar: The Deputy Commissioner, Sandeep Kumar, conducted a surprise inspection of the Chandwa Block Office and the Community Health Centre (CHC), Chandwa today. During the inspection, he reviewed the functioning of the office, record maintenance, cleanliness, and the services being provided to the public.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner obtained necessary information from the staff present and instructed them to ensure timely execution of work. Expressing concern over the absence of certain employees, he directed the Block Development Officer to seek explanations (show-cause notices) from them and to ensure appropriate action as per rules.
While inspecting the Block Office, the Deputy Commissioner instructed the concerned officials to ensure that all schemes are implemented in a transparent and time-bound manner. He emphasized the speedy disposal of pending cases and the prompt resolution of public grievances.
During the inspection of the Community Health Centre, Chandwa, he reviewed the availability of medical facilities, medicines, cleanliness, and the quality of services being provided to patients.
The Deputy Commissioner also inspected the Ayushman Vatika located within the CHC premises, interacted with admitted patients, and gathered information about their health-related issues. Subsequently, he inspected the OPD, reviewed the treatment services being provided, and sought details from doctors regarding treatment procedures while issuing necessary directions.
He also reviewed the updated status of medicine distribution and directed that all essential medicines must be made available on time. Additionally, he stressed maintaining cleanliness across the hospital premises.
DC Kumar instructed the doctors and healthcare workers present to ensure the delivery of better and quality healthcare services to patients.
The Block Development Officer, Chandwa, Chandan Prasad, Circle Officer, and Dr. Neelima Kumari were present on the occasion.
