NEW DELHI: In a powerful outcry of grief and indignation, Kashmiri Pandits—joined by concerned citizens of Delhi—assembled in large numbers at Jantar Mantar to protest the brutal killing of 26 Hindu tourists in Pahalgam, Kashmir.
Chanting “Stop Hindu Genocide,” the demonstrators decried what they termed the systematic targeting of Hindus—from Kashmir to Mushirabad, Manipur to Tamil Nadu. Protesters called upon the Government of India to unequivocally declare Pakistan a terrorist state and cease all diplomatic and economic engagement with it.

Speakers condemned the attacks as acts of “Jihadi terrorism,” criticizing what they described as a deliberate *whitewashing of jihadist violence by left-liberal intellectuals and media as “moral cowardice and betrayal of the nation.”
Activists like Vithal Chowdhary from Youth 4 Panun Kashmir, Amit Raina of Roots in Kashmir, Sumeer Chrungoo and Kamal Hak from Kashmiri Samiti Delhi, Panun Kashmir respectively joined the protest and together they asked following demands from authorities.
Immediate arrest of Aga Rahullah and Wahid Para for their alleged inflammatory remarks against Hindus, formal declaration of Pakistan as a terrorist state, immediate suspension of all diplomatic and business ties, and closure of the Pakistan High Commission in India, urgent protection and relocation of all PM Package employees serving in Kashmir and Official recognition of the genocide of Kashmiri Pandits.

The attack in Pahalgam is not just against tourists—it is an attack on India,” said Sumeer Chrungoo, President, Kashmiri Samiti Delhi. “This is Ghazwa-e-Hindustan. If India does not awaken now, there may be no India left to defend.” they added.
