NEW DELHI: ServiceNow, a digital workflow company, has appointed Ganesh Lakshminarayanan and managing director and group vice president for India and SAARC business. He will take charge of the company with effect from January 06, 2025.
Prior to joining ServiceNow, he worked with Airtel as CEO of its domestic business during which the market presence of Airtel has significantly increased. Lakshminarayanan has also worked with Dell India as President and Managing director.
Lakshminarayanan will be based out of Bangalore to lead India business and expands its position across the SAARC region. He will also be solidifying the company’s position in digital transformation and innovation across the APAC region as well.
The strategic appointment reinforces the ServiceNow’s commitment to one of the world’s fastest growing market and a vital driver of a digital transformation, said the company. India is a critical market of the ServiceNow where our presence is essential to have with effective leadership to help the industry to grow. India also serves as an important technical hub for ServiceNow with its India Technology and Business Centre (ITBC) emerging as its largest outside of the United State. India today represents more than 20 percent of ServiceNow’s global workforce. he company said over 40% of its global product engineering now based out of the country.
