NEW DELHI: Senior journalist Rohit Sardana dies after cardiac arrest at a private hospital at Noida. He was also tested of Covid-19 positive as per the news report. Sardana was an executive editor of Aaj Tak of the India Today group, is survived by his wife, two little daughters and parents.
His last rites will be taking place in native town of Kurukeshetra in Haryana. His sudden death brings sharp reactions from across the spectrums which include politicians, media world and others.
Condoling his death, PM Narendra Modi said in a tweet “Rohit Sardana left us too soon. Full of energy, passionate about India’s progress and a kind-hearted soul, Rohit will be missed by many people. His untimely demise has left a huge void in the media world. Condolences to his family, friends and admirers. Om Shanti”.
