RANCHI: The state police released a handbook on Friday, which features the cyber security. The handbook was released by the DG headquarters Ranchi Ajay Kr Singh in the state capital. The handbook is written in two languages which have 35 pages.
The handbook covers around 500 cases of cyber-crime in the state. In few months, the state observed large number of cyber frauds, hence the DGP instructed the police to prepare it for a general awareness.
‘The Garhwa Post’ has spoken to several victim of cyber-crime who have lost huge amount of money following the fraud calls.
The handbook is available on the website of the Jharkhand Police, sources said. The police are also working on plans to carry out awarness programmes in schools also.
