RTI reveals, Arvind Kejriwal spent Rs 150 crore on advertisement in the first 3 months of 2021

NEW DELHI: Arvind Kejriwal led Delhi government spent 150 crores on the advertisement till March 2021, the RTI reply on April 08th 2021 reveals this – the above amounts were spent on advertisements and publicity through various medium, the RTI also says.

In January, Rs; 32.52, February 25.33, and Rs; 92.48 crores were spent respectively by the Delhi government. About 1.67 crores were spent on per day. The said RTI reply is revealed by a twitter user Alok Bhatt.

Arvind Kejriwal was heavily criticized for advertising and promoting the apparent successes of the AAP government through YouTube ads also. On the other side, Delhi, having a huge shortage of medical gas (Oxygen) which kills Covid-19 patients on daily basis.

Many hospitals in the National Capital, have put the board outside the hospital for not to admit any new patients now.

The Delhi High Court on Saturday also pulled up the Delhi government and remarked that the government had utterly failed in creating a mechanism to ensure the smooth supply of oxygen. Earlier in 2020, the same Kejriwal government had promised people to deliver oxygen cylinder at their doorstep.
