Since after the Modi government abrogated controversial Article 370, 35 (A), Mehbooba has been making provocative statements regularly with her party workers, followers and even while talking to media. Mehbooba Mufti, a former Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir, who formed government with her far rivalry party BJP in 2016.
As “Operation All-out” is continued on full swing to eliminate the terror in entire J&K, which paining her a lot, as her party worker found to be involved in terror activities in the state also. The past few weeks have been quite successful for the security forces, as it scores splendid successes and liquidating the terror operatives of the many outfits link to terrorists in the valley. These terrorists are hiding themselves in the mosque as shelter, while the security forces are nabbing and eliminating by maintaining the sacredness of the mosques.
In April 16th, the security forces found themselves in a zesty situation in Kulgam while launching a search operation against terrorists in Kerewa Mohalla of Frisal village. Saima Akhter, an special police officer created a sort scene, further police arrested and dismissed from the server also. Now, she was charged under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) and section 353 of the IPC was also imposed on her. The charges she is facing are – “resisted the search party, turned violent and obstructed search operations, and uttered statements glorifying the terrorists there”.
Mehbooba Mufti has also been facing ED heat allegedly money transferred and loundering during her tenure as chief minister of the state. Very recently, Mehbooba and her mother were denied the Indian passport on the national security threats ground. NIA has also been closely monitoring Mehboob’s activities in the state, particularly for upshots of her statements against the country and the state of Jammu & Kashmir.
She has always been in denial and raking up what Pakistanis are doing against India’s interests such as Kashmir issues, dialogue with Pakistan, self-rule, restoration of statehood and undoing the Article 370, 35(A). In a background, she is attempting to challenge the union government’s efforts to peace in the state.
Mehbooba Mufti tried several attempts to provoke the people of Kashmir, (youths) in particular. Once she had said “don’t ignore the Kashmir issue when you (Kashmiri youth) speak of article 370, it all end”. She added further, Kashmir issue to be solved, if the government of India can speak to Bodo, Naga outfits, why can’t it replicate to Kashmir.
South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) summit is set to take place in Pakistan, we hope our PM will go there and resolve the issues, including Kashmir, Mehbooba had said in her party headquarter, Srinagar.
