Ashwini Upadhyay Launches ‘Bharat Jodo Movement’ on August 8, 2021

NEW DELHI: Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court, Ashwini Upadhyay begins movement against all colonial laws to be burnt at Jantar Mantar on August 08, 2021.

Upadhyaya (43), initiated campaign since June this year – there will be 222 colonial era acts including, IPC (1860) ACT, Police Act (1861), Evidence Act (1872), Religious Endowment Act (1863) and be destroyed, instead asked central government to frame the new acts with view to “Equal Rights to All” citizen of the country.

The movement is being joined by many big guns along with citizens comprising, Justice (Rtd) Sukha Ram Yadav, Justice (Rtd) BK Shukla, IPS Dr. Anand Kumar, Bikram Singh, RVS Mani, Sanjay Dixit, Major (Rtd) SP Sinha etc..

He named the movement as ‘Bharat Jodo’, since there is a need of people to join together instead, they are divided just because of ineffective acts that are still exit even after Britishers left India in 1947.

Ashwini Upadhyay urges citizens to join the protest at Jantar – Mantar in large numbers and asked the government to abolish all futile laws.
